Re: 01+ 500FA code retrieval procedure/list Hi, I am a new user to Red Quads. I have a 2001 rubicon, had constent flashing indicator, I used the code retrival and I get 5 blinks pause 5 blinks pause 1 blink pause then repeats... Any ideas

Re: 01+ 500FA code retrieval procedure/list Here's a link to a service manual, it's a lot easier than posting the pages.
http://www.maxmekker.com/atv/_-__--__x/ ... FA-Svc.pdf For that code you will most likely have to pull the shift motor and loosen the shift gear with a screwdriver and then re-initialize the system. That could have been the problem, it didn't get initialized when the angle sensor was replaced. |

Re: 01+ 500FA code retrieval procedure/list TooDeep, Thanks... It was all you sugested and the Angle sensor. I did the motor freeded the gear and todY THE ANGLE SENSOR CAME i INSTALLED IT RE-INITIALIZED THE UNIT AND, SO FAR, IT IS WORKING LIKE A CHAMP. Around my house that is. Tomorrow I will test it in the hills. Again Thanks
